I took a bus to a Alchi. My freinds all went on motorcycles. I was chicken, to ride in the Himalayas on a motorcycle. We spent the night at a hotel, and they left back to Leh. I then found out, the daily bus would not be back for maybe a week. It was taking people to a festival instead. I flagged down two young women in a jeep, that were touring monasteries. They were going back to Leh that night. I saw five different places that amazed me, that I probably never would have seen otherwise. All's well, that ends well! Basco was one of the fantastic stops. It is partly ruins, and some is rebuilt. I could not go into the ruins, the path was on the edge of a mountian, and I just could not make myself walk there. I walked around the rest. I loved it!
