Photographer's Note
The Shikh festival parade carried the most holy book in a palaquin from the temple, to the festival. (Later the holy book was carried back to the temple) There were many different people in the parade. Men held ropes to create room on the crowded streets for the parade. Many sikh women swept the path clean. Bands played, sikh bag pipers marched, demonstrations of martial arts, and holy men all went past.
