The Ridge road is a large open space, located in the center of Shimla. It is the hub of all cultural activities of Shimla. It is famous for the various government functions and fairs that are held here. It is usually the venue for all such celebrations and events. The most famous festival that is held at the Ridge is the Summer festival. This famous festival is held during the months of april or may and the whole of Shimla comes alive with colors and a riot of activities. Source : wiki

Must be an attractive location for photographers and local people as weel, Miguel, due to the high point lookout over the mountains, and also the festivals you mentioned.
Despite low light condition, managed a clear shot from yet a higher ground.

Also from this angle this reminds me of Darjeeling. The buildings, the horses for rent, the views in the distance. You captured the pleasant late afternoon light well.

fantastique vue d'ensemble de cette place avec ce point de cadrage en hauteur ce qui nous permet de voir le tout quelle image avec les personnes les chevaux sur la place et ces édifices et ce ciel en fond grandiose compo et ensemble

You had a great vantage point to overlook this large place with lots of people as well as horses. The hill in the background with many houses and trees is well included as well and you handled the backlight well. Good work.

Que lugar tan interesante y original, increible este gran espacio en la ciudad, ademas situado casi en la cima de la montaña con lo cual tiene unas vistas excepcionales, que gran cantidad de gente charlando en diferentes grupos, paseando... ello hace de la imagen un espacio muy vivo y de gran actividad.
Buena iluminacion y excelente nitidez.
Muy bien captada. Me encanta.
