Photographer's Note

Another picture in the Sarpass series, this was taken after reaching Tila Lotni camp, at an altitude of abt 13000ft. The temperature was well below zero, winds were pretty strong, our hands were getting numb. We were caught in a blizzard of sorts and we didn't know where were we going! We just followed the guide! Visibility was hardly a few feet and as soon as we reached the camp, we started believing that we'd see tomorrow :)

As the snow subsided, weather seemed to get calmed down. And when we came out of the tents, we were baffled by the view ahead!! The vast expanse of the mountains around..

As the cloud cover was quite thick, the light available pretty less, I've desaturated the image to BnW.. hope it does its part in showing the ferocious beauty of mother nature :)
