Marhi(Elevation 3,360 m (11,020 ft)) is in Himachal Pradesh,India, located midway between Manali and Rohtang La on the Manali-Leh Highway. Buses traveling the highway often stop in Marhi so that passengers can eat.
Beas nallah originates from the Rohtang Pass at an altitude of 4905m above Mean Sea Level (MSL). Scheme is contemplated on Shelashar nallah and Beas Nallah. Shelasher Nallah joins river Beas in the downstream. Both tributaries has a total catchment area of about 26.23 Sq. Km. The area on left and right side of the streams are predominantly barren area. Catchment area remains under snow for six to eight months in a year. In summer precipitation is received in the form of rain.
Marhi mini Hydropower Project has been contemplated as Run-of-River scheme on Beas nallah in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The scheme has been contemplated near Marhi, which is 39km from tourist spot Manali.

This place is as famous as Rohtang pass. Fully covered with snow, all kind of snow sports are available. Whenever Rohtang pass is closed due to bad weather conditions, people are allowed to visit upto this place.

The place is surrounded by lush green meadows.
