Photographer's Note
The Goddess is carried in a litter to a village up a mountain for the day. The preists ring bells, and bless the people along the route. There are flowers, drummers and incense. She is returned that evening along the same route, to her temple.

Looks like it was an interesting place to be, and worth photos, but this one is so poorly lit and visually cluttered that it's hard to see what's going on.
You needed to expose for the faces, or use a bit of flash or reflector, and you definitely needed to get closer, preferably with a vertical axis.
