Photographer's Note

The view of the Spiti valley towards Kaza from the roof top of the Ki Monastery.

We reached the monastery pretty early since we had left before dawn for Kibber from Kaza. After a brief stopover the next stop was obviously at Ki on the way back. Even though it was about 7 am, still the tourist crowd had not started to build up. Since we were not expected, it gave us a chance to roam about the monastrey and i think the roof-top was not a place where we were supposed to be going. But since no one was looking. Who cared..

The view on both the sides of the valley was enchanting. One could see for miles in either direction, and gets a clear view of the sporadic villages spaced out almost equally along the right banks of the Spiti river.

Did auto-levels to adjust the photograph a little bit on photoshop. And added the frame.
