Delhi Homeless:

My images are simply a snapshot of life. Probably in India is where I have seen the most dignity with poverty where often squalor and poverty go hand in hand. For me these images serve as a self reminder to acknowledge, respect and I am continuously humbled by the human spirit. Poverty is all relative. For me, true poverty is poverty of spirit.

With my camera, I like to capture all sides of life, that which is generally considered to be a thing of great beauty, also that which is considered its opposite. However, for me there is also great beauty to be found even in suffering if one looks with a respectful heart and acknowledges the humanity or the soul of the other. Feeling guilty has never helped anyone. It makes me feel very fortunate of my position,

This was recorded using 300mm long lens unnoticed away from the sad situation. In workshops please take a closer look at some of these unfortunate homeless people getting about their daily life.
