Photographer's Note

After spending two days in hectic pace of maddening crowded city of Delhi (enroute to Rajasthan) and taking in excess of 100 photos, mostly candid shots I kept getting drawn back to this one photo subject which I love, street people-street life, capturing people going about their daily lives and activities. Although it is a great challenge but often find this picture extremely captivating, meaningful and great lessons to learn. Not sure why and doubt many others will like it but something about it that I like, a true record life on human experience and the mix of urban scene with people interacting with their environments and each other.

They are very much part of the scene that color the streetscape and there is nothing like capturing or stealing a moment. So many special things happen day to day, which are just fragments in our lives. I find it interesting to watch people, observe and capture a brief snapshot of their lives. One of the greatest things about a city is that more things are happening, even within a small neighborhood, at any moment than any human can comprehend. Photography allows me to freeze one of those moments and study all of the small dramas that are taking place in urban life and the results are very true to life and worth it.

This shot is about the bad and the ugly that needs no explanations and I deserve the truth! It was taken from some distant away -focused of the face- in a busy and vibrant Gandhi Chowk area not far away from the metro train station.

I let the picture speak to viewers.......
