Photographer's Note

A simple street shot in hectic Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi showing group of uniformed schoolgirls on their way home on a cycle-rickshaw 'school bus' - for a contrast in life styles in the city. Children are cramming into
these makeshift 'school buses' which can seat up to sometimes ten kids and ferry them to and from schools across the capital, but attractive to view how they whiz through the city's notorious gridlock each morning and afternoon.

Amazing that despite the apparent chaos it all seems to work. I suppose it just goes to show that no matter where in the world you go humans will adapt to create a system and make things work.
That's the joy of street photography that I thoroughly enjoy.

The photo offers a great impression of the busy life and traffic in this street. I really like how the blue colours in the centre of the photo are surrounded by red ones, especially with that arm in the foreground. You captured the girl very well, looking straight into your camera.

At least the air looks reasonably clean in this photo unlike at the moment in Delhi. Good street photo of the girls in uniform.
