Photographer's Note

Through the red fort palaces, the Nahr-i-Bihist (stream/canal of paradise) flowed into a central marble basin fitted with an ivory fountain and carved into the floor. The water was drawn from the river Yamuna. The photo was taken in the Rang mahal also known as the painted palace. It consists of a main hall with an arched front, with vaulted chambers on either end. Source : http://asi.nic.in/
