a good portrait with the unsharp texture here. he light is everyting here, specially the angle you have chosen.
you have a good DOF here, and so you could have gone for more of the blurred background.

This is the kind of portrait that I like. When you have an interesting subject and good light then I think its best to keep things simple by concentrating on the face alone. And that's what you've done here. Nice one.
