How could you not record this!
The eye-contact is so engaging and I love the symbolism of the small child being wrapped in his mother's love.
It's a beautifully composed photograph, the twinkling eyes strongly placed.

Excellent bl/w portrait, Nelson. A few odd things strike me (the hand of the kid and is that the Apple-logo on the clothes?)...they make the shot even more interesting.

his eyes say "take me in picture!"
Interseting B&W image, but you framed too tight the 2 heads, cutting them, more space at left and top should have been better

That's my middle name too by the way! I love your monochrome treatment of this image, which is quite brave, as I imagine the colour of the scene was quite vibrant. But the b/w allows us to concentrate on the essentials: the beautiful child with those huge eyes, and the mother's patterned sari. Wonderful street grab-shot (I guess Mum didn't even know you'd taken it), and a touching and thoughtful note to accompany it. Good work!
