Photographer's Note

In the center of the courtyard of Jama Masjidis a large marble ablution tank, Hauz in which the devout wash their face, hands & feet before attending prayers. The Birds eye view of this tank can be seen here.

I took this photograph from 130 feet above ground level from atop the Southern minaret. The space at the top of the minaret is quite limited & the lattice windows, which were very fragile has now been reinforced with iron grille, which makes photography a bit difficult. I had to poke the lens through the iron grilles to take pictures, even more difficult since I was pointing down in this case….I guess it would be even more difficult for the wider (in circumference) SLR lenses.
