Photographer's Note

The history of the place can be traced back to the early phase of the 18th century.

So this place has some historical significance.

It's a good destination for tourists having a keenness on history. Those who study historical studies will love to be here.

Dasghara has some wonderfully made terracotta architectures and temples.

Now what is terracotta?

"a type of earthen-clay, typically of a brownish-red color and unglazed, used as an ornamental building material and in modelling."

Archaeologists have found terracotta sculptures that are approximately 5,000 years old!

Terracota can easily be sculpted into all kinds of shapes.

So Dasghara is famous for terracota-type buildings and architectures.

In Dasghara there is a temple, which was built during the Mughal era. It's a famous one.

The place has mainly the sites of the ruins of the historical structures.

This photo, however, is of the Dasghara post office.
