Photographer's Note
NOthing much to say regarding the grand view apart from the fact that this is what one gets from Sandakphu(3636Mts) of Kanchendzonga range..Sandakphu is situated in West bengal and can be reached by hiking for around 28 Kms or 32 kms by jeep as well..!!
The peaks which form this structure which is known as the "Sleeping Buddha" are Janno,Koktang,Ratong,Kabru north and south, Mt kanchendzonga,Simvo, Japuno and Pandim from left to right.
Sleeping Buddha: If you look closely from left to right..u can figure out a man sleeping on his back and u are watching his right profile..can u get it..???
The best time to undertake this trek is from Oct to jan and then from march to june. October to jan u can really get clear views of the range even though its very cold up there..and in the summer months the view is not guaranteed but u can get lots of flowers on the trail.
The trail which u can see on the left side in the hills leads to another destination called Phalut(3600Mts) and really takes the trekker very close to the third highest peak in the world..!!
Enjoy the view..!!!

Hello Indranil,
That's a really nice mountain's picture !
Colors and composition are very good. I like this dark foreground (with the ice on the trees) and the background which is lighter.

Hi Indro,
Nice to see you back with your Mt.K with all its grace and glory. Nice panoramic view, and yes one can easily identify the 'Sleeping Buddha'. The cloud below seems like a pond with the image of the mountain.
Nice composition.

Hi Indro
Very nice view, going panoramic was the right choice for this landscape, since it is generally quite dark the snow covered summits stand out very well.
have a nice day jY

Hi Indranil!
I like this one a lot!
I love mountains and seeing those giant ones in such a good picture! The composition is simple but pretty effective! Sharpness is excellent, exposure is very good, colors are natural and beautiful!
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,
