Photographer's Note

Qutub Sahi Mosque or Sona Masjid (The Golden Mosque) built in 1582 is a double aisled mosque with ten domes and corner turrets was erected in the nonour of the Saint Nur Qutub-Ul-Alam by Makhdum Shaikh, the descendant and a follower of the Saint. It is also know as the Sona Masjid because of its earlier gilded wall surface and crowns of the turrets. It was also used as a court of justice later.
But outside the ruins of that grand edifice, a woman sat in the winter sun, oblivious of the history of her surroundings. To her a little warmth means much more than 500 years of history.
