This time she appears in true colors of life.She can be seen holding a Blackberry cellphone in her hand and looking at an image of herself.The delightful smile is all pervasive and she looks happy with a modern gadget in her hand.Hope things will get better in days to come;better housing,better living in future for all in the villages of India.

Hello Farhat,
In a certain way it's a bit a funny picture. On the other hand I understand your concern for a better life for this woman and for many Indians who live in smaller villages.
In some places on earth a mobile phone isn't that difficult to obtain while the care for basic needs (housing, healthy food, education) can be a big problem.
Of course that doesn't mean that this lady may not enjoy the pleasure of looking at a selfie.
Excellently composed, wonderful colours, a very nice portrait!

You're capturing well this scene by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the spectacle which this village lady is holding the cellphone in her hand and satisfied it. It's also impressive in her traditional showy clothes. An electronic device seems to have abolished the wall of the border.

Hi Farhat,

Wow, what a stark contrast from your previous picture of the "wrinkled lady." I don't know why, but that makes me laugh. :) Bright and colorful this time, with plenty of blue color that always catches my attention. It seems that no matter who, when or where...people and their phones, there's no escape from technology. Super point of view, a smart idea to get down, even below eye level to create a more dramatic visual. Love the contrasts of textures, the human skin, dress material and surrounding stone...all of which come together for another pleasing image. Bravo! Enjoy the new day. All the best.

It's amazing how modern have infiltrated even the remotest part of the world. The last time I visited the Philippines in 2007 I saw cell towers in the middle of pristine jungles. Nice capture of the old and the new. Good dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.
