Photographer's Note
This photograph was taken from a moving train while I was travelling back to Kolkata from Kharagpur. I knew that Midnapur district is the largest producer of flowers - but had never seen flower cultivated except in movies.
Here is some flower cultivation and rice being grown in the background.

Hi Somak,
Did you take it somewhere near Kolaghat or Mecheda?There is a huge area there where flower is cultivated,specially china rose.You can see it from the train near the Rupnarayan river.
Considering the fact that you took it from the moving train,this is beautiful.Amazing greenery.Its a treat for the eyes to behold!!!

really nice somak!
reminds the typical bengal pady field..so green....so full of life...and the flowers here are adding some extra dimesntion in your shot..
