Photographer's Note

The Victoria Memorial is one of the landmarks of Kolkata. Built by the British, it remains one of the remarkable piece of architecture in the world. At night, the flood lights and reflections give it a out og the earth view. Conceived by Lord Curzon, the then British Viceroy of India, the building was build to commemorate Queen Victoria. The building was opened in 1921. It also hosts one of the best art museums in India today.
