I took this snap in gangasagar Fair transit camp...these pilgrims were came from Uttar Pradesh,India to attend Gangasagar fair,which held in West Bengal...

Gangasagar pilgrimage and fair is the second largest congregation of mankind after the holy Kumbha Mela.

Gangasagar fair and pilgrimage is held annually on the Sagar Island’s southern tip in the Ganges delta atop the Bay of Bengal. That makes Gangasagar all the more distinctive.

This is a very interesting photo, I like seeing the different faces of each of these people. I wonder what wach of them is thinking and also whether they are happy and healthy. Their costume is wonderful, so colourful. I hope that their prayers were answered.

Hello Prasun,

I like the lower position, because you can see the people in there eyes, but it makes also the standing child bigger.
I like also the contrast between the woman and the child in this picture (the child is the only one who
laughs).
The composition and light in this picture are also great.
