Photographer's Note

~ Durga... @ International Women's Day ~
Durga is the name of a goddess. Meaning is "the inaccessible" or "the invincible"; durga is the most popular incarnation of Devi and one of the main forms of the Goddess Shakti in the Hindu pantheon.
Durga Puja festival marks
the victory of Goddess
Durga over the evil buffalo
demon Mahishasura. Thus, Durga Puja festival epitomises the victory of
Good over Evil.
These days when ladies are feeling insecured worldwide, I think every lady should keep alive their inner 'Durga' to prevent all kinds of devil attitude, which they have to face everyday. Hope they will resist the torture on their female existance herself...
I use this photo (captured in a stage show held on the day of Durga puja) here on the very day, known as 'International Women's Day'...
