Photographer's Note

Into the deep.
Found this place near the Bakkhali beach - sea side village at the south of west bengal. Wonderful combination of sea-white sand-forest.
There is a 7 km long beach stretching from Bakkhali to Frasergunj with gently rolling waves. These are twin towns now forming one continuous locality. On holidays and weekends the beach is very crowded but except the holidays it is a very loanly beach.A temple called Bishhalakshmi at the end of the Bakkhali main beach is worth seeing. The walk over the beach from Bakkhali to Frasergunj is a out-of-the-world experience.
The ride in the bhut-bhuti, a motorised country boat, from Frasergunj fishing harbour to Jambu Dwip, a small, island out in the sea, can be a thrilling experience. Also make it a point to visit Henry's island. The island is an extension of the Sunderbans.
