Photographer's Note
I was saying in my previous picture that Khajuraho, home of the Kamasutra temples, was not a military strategic point nor an important stop on a trade route nor next to an important water bed.
Moreover, one more reason that doesn't explain why those beautiful temples were built there is the poor agriculture.
This picture was taken next to the Eastern Group of temples and shows how dry the land can get. The locals in Khajuraho were telling us that they haven't seen a heavy rain in two years now.
