Photographer's Note
Rat Snake (Ptyas mucosus) English - Oriental Rat snake, Rat Snake | Hindi- Ghoda-Pachad | Marathi-Dhaman
During a photowalk I have seen this beautiful snake, its rainy season in india and this is te most common species of snake in whole asian continent. Normal length is 7 ft but grow up to 11.5 ft if fortunate to survive. It is non venoms species and identified by broad head than neck .these are killed due to their long sige and people get scared to see.it runs faster than a horse on land and I was fortunate while capturing him that he was in mood of rest at that time :)

hi, did you identified this one as a non-venom snake while capturing this one? Great courage to capture it anyway. A nice composition with those rocks and leafs... Thanks for sharing. Tfs.
Best wishes.
