Gudauri is a small tourist settlement and ski resort located more than 2000 meters on the southern slopes of the Lesser Caucasus in Georgia. Gudauri is located just 120km from Tbilisi, from where it can be accessed by car in two hours following the Military Road. In the past, great writers and poets such as Alexander Griboedov, Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov, Vladimir Mayakovsky and even Alexander Dumas, used to visit this area.

Gudauri es un pequeño asentamiento turístico y estación de esquí localizada a más de 2000 mts en las laderas sur del Cáucaso menor en Georgia. Gudauri se encuentra a tan solo 120km de Tiflis, desde donde puede ser accedido en auto en dos horas siguiendo el Camino Militar. En el pasado, grandes escritores y poetas como Alexander Griboedov, Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov, Vladimir Mayakovsky y hasta Alejandro Dumas, solían visitar esta zona.

Hi Luis,with or without the arcade, the show of the view from this point is always great, maybe the pics are a bit overexposed, hard light, but perfect to bright up the colors of autumns of the mountains,well done! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hi Luis,
One wouldn't expect to see such a gorgeous view though an arch like that. Really surprising. Golden tones on those mountain slopes is really wonderful.

Wow, the sunlight on the hills was amazing and created the most beautiful and vivid colours. Good use of the arch in the foreground as well, it makes a good frame and adds a nice contrast.

de fato é uma paisagem lindíssima, ainda mais pintada para o outono dourado, lindas encostas com grande declive. boas as duas vistas, uma delas incluindo o arco.

Wow this is a spectacular spot and the light which you had was amazing. The resulting colors are so vibrant. Amazing effect! I would probably just take the photo like in the workshop but thanks to your creativity you have taken few steps back and included the arch of the bridge. This added a wonderful framing and the result is so beautiful!

Hola Luis,

It doesn’t surprise me that this area was visited by famous writers and poets, it looks spectacular. Of course, your use of the archway and railed balcony, frames the scenery and helps to create an immense sense of depth.
Did you feel like composing a poem, when you were standing here, with this magnificent scenery spreading before you?

Hello Luis,
I think this place is located on the road to Kasbegi.
Splendid view under the arch.
The colours of the mountain slopes are azazing. I didn't have such colours when I was there.
