Photographer's Note

In Southwestern China rests the city of Zhuhai. The city hosts a centuries old sea industry with an active fishing business. At the city center is a fish and vegetable market and part of the fish side of that market is viewed here. The market is open daily and I am visiting here after the day’s catch has arrived.
Zhuhai ("Pearl Sea") is a prefecture-level city on the southern coast of Guangdong province in the People's Republic of China. Located in the Pearl River Delta, Zhuhai borders Jiangmen to the northwest, Zhongshan to the north, and Macau to the south. Zhuhai was one of the original Special Economic Zones established in the 1980s.
