Photographer's Note

Chinese gardens are famous for their "landscapes in miniature" also known as "potted landscapes" (penjing). This art-form has its roots in the Tang Dynasty and has been cultivated ever since. It can be classified into miniature rockeries and miniature trees. Here is an example of a successful combination of both.
