Photographer's Note

Street people at one of the afternoon street markets in downtown Chengdu, and I particularly liked the colours and the activity in this with biggest display of fruit and veg. Not only is the regular market packed to bursting but the surrounding streets are taken over.

What better way to enjoy the view and watch the world go by. It was chaotic but great fun to make pictures....

I like the inclusion of the couple in the foreground; is the man buying apples? We will never know!

Hello Abmdsudi, Nice scene from the busy market from Chengdu. Good composition, colours and sharpness. I was in Chengdu but it was only a good base for some trips.

Street markets make excellent places for colourful scenes and lively, social interaction!
You have painted a very busy market scene, it is just thronging with people!
From the number of cycles in evidence, it appears that many sellers have brought their produce in this way.
We get some charming, particular details amidst this very busy b/g.

I recall staying in the Traffic Hotel in Chengdu and visiting the panda research station, a highlight of my trip to China. A good outdoor street market scene. Tfs!

It is remarkable how you can see at one view from the scene whether it is a recent photo or a somewhat older one.
No masks, everyone close together, clearly a beautiful photo from better times.
