Photographer's Note

Pudong on a very cold winter day. I took this one on the same day I arrived to China. This was one of my first impressions of the country - a view of the Pudong (or East bank of the Hangpu River), opposite the historical centre of Shanghai. This is the new district, with a huge economical importance, where almost everything happens.

It was the end of the evening and in spite of the cold, we stayed there for a while, watchig the boats passing.
