Photographer's Note

This is the scene, where the Tadjik ethnic minority have lived for generations, at an altitude of about 3800 m in the eastern part of Pamir Plateau overlooking the snow-covered Pamir Mountains in the distant, north of Karakoram Range. A place known for its pleasant sunny weather, pristine during spring time and relatively cool and fresh even at the height of summer with abundant of pasture land and water resources.

Captured while enjoying an early morning walk alone in the heart of the vast valley, a quintessentially Central Asian pastoral and tranquil rural scene. The shallow cold glacial stream meandering gently through wet meadow dotted by grazing sheep and yaks. This shot reminds me of how lucky I am to be able to enjoy such a simple scene, a landscape for the sheer serenity that uplifts the soul and rejuvenates my spirit. This remote landscape here has a beauty quite beyond compare.....

Shot and maintained everything in the elements as what I shot in camera using my faithful Gradual ND filter to balance the sky.

Actual Local Central Asian Time is 4hours behind Beijing time; Exif time minus 4 hours
