Photographer's Note
On a third visit to Jinhua China - I stopped to explore another daily market. Here a lady weigh's hens for sale ... using the old way with stick and balance. Most sales, everyday ... this way. I always find the China markets interesting, the people very friendly .... and all seem happy. Slowly these places are being replaced with the modern markets. Thus when ever I can I take photos of these while they still exist in China.

Hi David!
An excellent series from China! This one is well composed with a relatively close view of the chicken lady. I know that market photos can be difficult to compose, where often it is hard to get a clear view. This one works great! Lots of interesting details in the background. Well done, warm regards,
Steve

Hi David,
Lively daily life shot from the market, nowaday this type of old steelyard is no longer popular and replaced by other type of steelyard like digital balance, in my hometown this type of steelyard is still using in daily market and Chinese Medicine shop. Interesting composition, distinct photo, thanks for sharing.

Hello David,
Here the lady keeps the chickens in front of her so that you could take an excellent photo.
A very colourful picture, presented with good sharpness and clarity.
Best regards, Paul
