Photographer's Note

The year of the Tiger for China. Each new year all across China people celebrate the passing of the Lunar year. This is the second of this series of photos for China's celebration.

At temples and parks perhaps thousands across China food and fun fairs open, people visit and families share time together. It is family time. Children honor their grandparents and grandparents give red envelopes with money within to young happy faces. They go together to visit these fairs.

Streets are aligned with different food stalls and food on sticks, soups, and many other goodies are served. Here pictured are both meated sticks and thick soup. Steams rises from heated plates. Not shown in the photo, to the right are boiling meatballs, the source of the steam.

It is a great time for all.

Ni hao David,

I'd try some of these. But the interesting details here are the bottle of coke and the fastfood logo...it says a lot both about China and the world we live in.

a nice flagrant of the vendors preparing a special meal.I liked the interaction between them and the concentration in the job. the light was perfect. nice view.
