Photographer's Note

Mount Kailash, 6,714m, also known as Kang-Rimpoche in tibetan, a holy mountain worshipped as the home of the gods and centre of the universe by pilgrims like Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bonpos.

I spent around one hour climbing up a small hill --offering a good sight-viewing--left to the Mountain, when I got the snow-covered peak, almost out of breath to die, for it was so hard for me to get used to the high altitude. I got the blessing from the God finally, and he showed me his best side before the sunset.

The photo is my favorite of the series, scanned from the print, sharpened and framed.
