Photographer's Note

With an altitude of 3800m many thousand-year-old willow trees have grown round the Ranwu lake whose whose surface is 2600m in length and 1000-5000m in width. Ranwu Lake is the main supply of Palong Tsangpo, a branch of The Yalu Tsangpo River.
In the north, it is the famous Lagu glacier, extending to the lake. Every time the ice melts, the water flows into the river, keeping the lake water abundant.
