A Spot of Weeding, a photo from Yunnan, South

We went for a bit of a hike in the Gaoligong Mountains, across the Nu River (Salween) from Fugong for a few hours while we were there, exploring some of the Lisu villages and fields. Some of the mountain slopes are covered in steep rice terraces, and I found a man and a woman carefully picking the weeds out of some near where this was taken. I took this photo as the man was walking off with a basket full of weeds, on the ridge of one mountain, with others in the distance.

Hi Andre !
Great composition, I like it ! It's just to bad that the colors of the background look tarnished while the green of the foreground is so vivid.
I experience the same problem, I don't know if there's a way to fix that (filter, photoshop ??) or maybe it's just the weather ...

This is a great compo. with the horizontals of the rice terrages in the FG. Your low POV works beautifully here and the man is positioned just perfect, before the hills start their elevation. I like the colour contrast here with the hazy background looking perfectly natural against the bright FG. I feel the effect would be lost if both were of equal intensity. Well done!

very good composition with perfect position for the man with the basket. The green atmosphere of the picture is very pleasant. looks very p.peaceful there.
