Lunar Festival at Wong Tai Sin Temple - Hong Kong - The year of the Golden Pig

Worshipers struggle to give their offerings as large crowds continued to pack Wong Tai Sin Temple yesterday - the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday.

Hundreds of thousands of Hongkongers returned home yesterday, with the Immigration Department saying that by 10PM, 394,535 people had entered the city.

Wong Tai Sin Temple: Worth A Fortune. Wong Tai Sin Temple, a Taoist temple established in 1921, is one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong. It is one of the most famous shrines in Hong Kong. It is dedicated to Wong Tai Sin, or the Great Immortal Wong. he temple is located on the southern side of Lion Rock in the north of Kowloon and gave its name to the Wong Tai Sin district of Hong Kong.
