This was pre- Chinese New Year, this was taken near Nathan road.

You can see the girl in the foreground looking at the good luck, wishes written on the red pieces of paper which are normally stuck inside the house wall.

You can also buy the red packets, where the parents give to their children and friends children, all filled with money or better known as lucky money.

At the top of the picture, you can find firecrackers, these are fake because it is only for decoration.

everything is red because during Chinese New Year, red means luck and happiness, so in traditional Chinese weddings, the bride dresses in a red dress.
