Photographer's Note
Another shot of one of the more famous models of TE. Since Maciek seems hesitant to post his shot(s) of this great looking guy, I am trying to take up the slack ;)
One of the very many interesting older men gathered in Aberdeen, Hong Kong.

Ah, the old guy again...just joking! ;-) He is an interesting character, but the man who was holding down the newspaper from your previous shot wins the prize from me. I like this one, better than your other shot of the same guy. B&W seems to work well with this subject as it somehow enchances his appearance and makes him more nostalgic than he really is. Compo quite conservative, but it works well. Next time I'll be in Hong Kong I'll have to see if he's around or not. Well done, Darren.

you again?! maaaan....
good one again Darren! great portratit! wonderful expression again, this guy is just great. two small nitpicks I can find are sth balck in the bottom left corner - his hand? and the compo is a bit too centered for my taste. anyway, very good stuff
and i think i must go to Aberdeen one day again to shot sth better than what i have got ;)

Nice face indeed. Love it. The way you posted it in b&w is also nice.
The best smile on TE, for sure...

Very good portrait Darren, although I agree with Maciek about being too centered. One of these days I may go to Aberdeen myself to capture this interesting face.

Maciek, I'm going to call you chicken if you don't load your toothless guy image before you flee to Cambodia...
Darren, I find this image even better than the one you loaded initially, might be the BW pulling again on my appreciation, or the post-process which I find less agressive than with RGB shots.

A great portrait shot, Darren. Good use of B/W and good DOF. The old man seems like a real character. Well seen and captured.

This is a very good portrait. I like the sharpness and the DOF of this image. The BW also renders a classic taste to this image. Great work!
