Photographer's Note
The photo was taken on the grounds of the "Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel". This photo is of a door built into a shed made of clay, sand, rock and other cement type materials. I liked the stark contrast of the blue on the neutral color of the sand. The texture was also worth trying to capture.
Perhaps I could have off-centered the door a bit to the left. What do you think? Would this have helped the composition, or is it good the way it is?

Hello,
Very nice colours, the contrast is a success. the shadow from the recess in the wall give some depth to your shoot.
I would have probably centered the door, but it works anyway.

Hi Marc,
I like the two colours together. I immediately thought to myself "door to the left" Why don't you post a workshop with such cropping. It would be nice to be able to compare.
Best,
Petek
