I visited the Ming Tombs outside of Beijing on a brisk winter day in February. I was very fortunate however that the day was full of sunshine. This photo gives the illusion of warmth though the air was really quite chilly.

I like this photograph very much. The composition: sky, mountains, fence, wall; the colours contrast; and the shadows; I love shadows.
