Photographer's Note

Gugong or Imperial Palace in Beijing. For some reason it is often called by westerners as "Forbidden City". This place probably does not need much introduction and certainly it is difficult to find something to photograph there that hadnīt been phtographed by others a thousand times before.
I was there among the first tourists already about 20 minutes before opening, which explains why this place looks so empty in this photo. Weather wasnīt the best possible for photographying but tried to keep the amount of sky as minimum and here it is reflected in water which balnaces the composition a bit.
