Photographer's Note

At China's Punjiayuan Market a brushman works on calligraphy using propper hand positioning and stroke order. Chinese Characters may have many brush strokes, each must be done in a specific order. This man seems to be working hard on brush work, but not on the sale of brushes. Seen here are many interesting brushes of all sizes and brush types. Most brushes here are made of natural hairs from horse to ox and many others. The handles are of rich woods, bone, cloisonne, and other materials.
