Photographer's Note

The creator of modern Chinese literature, Lu Xun (1881-1936), is a pervasive presence in Shanghai. The house at Shangying Lu, where he spent the last four years of his life, is a museum to the writer, while Hongkou Park contains his tomb.

now,the street is protected by the government for its historical interests.
