Photographer's Note
These two seem poised for battle as they WOK their way into cooking stardom; at least on the corner lots and side street alleys of Weifang City. There seems to be a hungry crowd behind me as these two get plenty of requests for stir-fried “something”. The way for the street cook is a vanishing activity as China grows to modernize everywhere.

Hi David,
this is a great action shot, sharp and well timed. Framed a fraction to the left to include the whole body of the man would make this perfect. Well done, I like this image a lot.
Best regards
Iain.

Hi David,
very nice, interesting expressive scene which, for some strange reason, reminded me of Frans Hals's portraits :)
there's something similar in the colours, perhaps... or in the way you portrayed these two guys - and the way Hals painted his pictures of people.
In any case, to me this photo looks more like a painting than a digital image!:)
bright, full of rich colours ... and mood :)
best regards,
Elena
