A view of the facade of the largest Buddhist temple in Chengdu, the Wenshu.
This monastery temple from the time of the Tang Dynasty is dedicated to Wenshu, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom (a Bodhisattva is a Buddha on the way to reach the famous "Awakening").
A traditional architecture for a temple in China: roofs pagodas, lanterns and prayer rooms where the worshipers worship at the foot of Buddha.
The atmosphere is recollection and in the air floats incense scents.
