Photographer's Note

Here is another image along the Yangtze River. There are a few key bridges like this. Most of the cliff sides are quite steep going through the Three Gorges area and may not support roads, at least ones that are visible by river travel. When the water level was 100 feet lower (or more), this bridge might have seemed much higher above the water level. The water will still continue to rise until the last portion of the Three Gorges dam project is fully finished.
