Photographer's Note
One of the main attractions in Yichang is the Zhengjiang tower. In fact, there is not much else to see there besides this tower and two churches. Yichang is, however, an important boarding point for the Yangtze cruises. Also, the city is only 10 km from the site of the Three Gorges Dam.
After arriving at the tower, I saw quite a number of people in nice clothes around the tower. As I walked around the tower I delightfully saw this just-married couple having a photo shoot.
The husband smiled at me so I guessed it was ok to take some photos of the newly weds (or he thought that I was just another photographer...). The bride was very lovely. Lucky guy! :)
I intentionally framed in part of the body of the husband to make the photo look more spontaneous (rather than a posed one).
As far as I remember, this is one of the very few portraits I've ever taken so any comments are welcome...

Note: Original photo, no adjustments. By the way, the white top part is the (overexposed) Yangtze river.

I like this one Tai.. This is very interesting. Your note is also informative.
I like your composition in this image. is it the husband standing on the left? She seems so happy.. the day of her life, so proud too.
Well done.

you got the eye for a wedding photographer tai vo, nice shot.
She is looking very comfortable and relax and radiant. Much better shot in profile than a head on.

Bravo Tai, it's a very nice pic. The stone (or ciment?) behind is in a good harmony with the tissues and the "tulle" of flowers. The position of the man in very interesting (archetypic of mans). The lady is perfectly full of herself and very beautiful. Like in a film.

A very fine wedding shot. I like this especially because most wedding shots are too much posed. In this shot I do not have that feeling. It looks very natural and philosophic.
Beautiful!
SOrry there are no double smileys ;-)

You capture her here at her most beautiful. I like how the tress go along the whole bottom of frame. The background of river is very interesting but maybe the boat can be take away from the photo. Good work!
