‘Koh Rong Sanloem - Lucky me, the beach still had a place available’

All three pictures were taken on the M-Pai Bay beach of Koh Rong Sanloem Island.

Frankly, during all my travels I spent little time on beaches.
But as said before, I arrived on Koh Rong Sanloem on day 100 of my journey.
When I left home I never expected to get so tired and with the relaxing atmosphere of the island with few roads and no motorized traffic, I immediately felt good.

With the forced long stay at home these days, the island now seems more than ever a paradise.

The jetty is a different one from the one I showed earlier.
Jetties were plentiful on the island :)

Hi Paul,I am reminded of last summer, when during a lockdown break I went to Tuscany and there was not even a place to put a towel on the beach. Fantastic beach, I would really like to live this experience, definitely renting the WS bungalow and eating fish in some small local restaurant, 3 photos that reflect my tastes, as you know, thank you for this dream in this difficult time.Have a nice evening,Luciano

Avec la pandémie cela affecte la vie quotidienne des personnes. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la plage de la baie M-Pai. La qualité de la lumière embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Good morning Paul,
All three photo, and yet the main picture is superbly allocated from the beach to the sea, and the far side green forest hill, which "falling" to the sea beyond the long pier.
Shadows cast and clarirty most attractive elements here.

superbe plage sans foule ... appréciable pour mettre en valeur la beauté du lieu. Bon effet ave ces agréables teintes bien rendues, bon effet de perspective avec la courbe du rivage, appréciable également le jeu d'ombres te de lumière sur le sable, bien gérée cette prise.

Hello Paul,
It looks a bit crowded towards the jetty, where I see several persons. ;-) But generally this seems to be a fairly quiet beach which even I could enjoy. The WS also look pleasant, but I would need a place like this to relax long before my day 100 on the road.

Your notes add even more to the sense of island paradise from this photograph! It looks beautiful!
The main one is an excellent composition, the dappled beach an amazing f/g, whilst the greenery makes a gentle guide to the focal hut!

Wat een prachtig en idyllisch plaatje van het lege strand, de groene heuvels, het blauwe water en de pier. De compositie is uitstekend en het licht en de kleuren heel aangenaam. Ook de schaduwen in de voorgrond zijn een mooi detail.

Hello Paul, it looks idyllic, very few people about, so plenty of space to wander and wet your feet!
The dappled light on the sand is a lovely effect. The long pier attracts our eyes.
The workshop pictures complete our impression, what a beautiful place.

very nice series of photos. I like the play of the light and shadow on the sand in the foreground. The pier adds a nice element to the scene.Lovely colors, the light was warm and it feels like holidays just by looking at it.

Missed this one. I like the shadow play on the fg sand. Superb warm vs cold colour contrasts with excellent sharpness. Well composed using the diagonal shoreline commencing in the bottom left corner. Tfs!

This spot is so lush and quiet. I like how the jetty divides the greenery in the background from the water and sand. The shadows on the ground are very nice, too. It would be nice to get away and relax on an empty beach for a few days...

Certainly these three wonderful photos of the beach and the green island confirm that this is an ideal paradise to spend a confinement in the open air, we are already very exhausted from the long confinement in our homes and cities, without being able to go to a different place.
