Photographer's Note
This shot was taken at the Bayon inside Angkor Thom.
One of many elders (monks) that can be found in and around the temples, tending to the small shrines and urging visitors to say a small prayer and donate some money. I found most to be quite friendly, and did not take too much offense to being declined (you can only pray sooo much in one day! Hahaha).
Post Production: Cropping, Levels, framing
--------------------------------------------------
This re-post goes out to all my fellow TE members who have critiqued & commented on the original shot. The two changes I have made are:
Cropping to eliminate the blurred wall at bottom right, and just for Rinnie (who's my biggest framing critic ;-)), a different frame...
Is the re-post better? Thanks again for all your critiques and comments!

Warmest Regards,
- Dan

a nice portrait Danile.. Well done. I like her pose, she comes out looking like a very sweet person. Your frame is also nice, elegant.
Better than the previous posting.

Hi Dan, Thanks very, very much.
Yes, this is much more to my liking ;-) Thanks for re-posting this, I think this is way better.
She has the most friendly face you can ever imagine. Just look at her soft, friendly eyes!
Thanks, Dan, if you like these 'ugly'(IMHO, of course) frames ;-), you should keep on using them, but I think it's a shame to your beautiful pictures.

HiDan
This is a lovely candid shot. Beautifully sharp - the detail on the elder's skin is wonderful! Well done.

A nice portrait with a nice soft stone wall to back it up. The of center position is fine. I just wish you cropped out the dark and yellow portion on the right, the colorspot distracts.

much better indeed, including the frame.. why don't you try the simple while frame after a simple black trait around it like Claude or I do.. i resisted but have finally admitted that it enhances the beauty of most photos... up to you Dan! haha! pressure is mounting, don't you feel it?

A very good portrait Dan. What great sharpness on her face. I also like the reoccurance of white all throughout the frame. Good one man!
And hey what's that I hear about Rinnie being your biggest frame critic? Your old fancy frames sucked man! ;-) Hahahahaha!

Daniel, this one has to be the best of the portraits you've post here. Love the way you have captured the expression of the man, the position of the hand... almost can hear the story he's telling. Well-done!!!
